Ruby Green

Ruby Lee Green, 98 of Harrisburg, passed peacefully on Sunday, November 3, 2019 with her family at her side. She was the daughter of the late Issac and Claudia (Gardner) Jackson and predeceased by two sisters; Millie Grace Simpson and Annie Cobb. Ruby retired from AFLCIO as a switchboard operator/receptionist with nearly 20 years of service. She was a member of 1st Baptist Church in Washington DC, she attended St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church in Harrisburg. Ruby had an excellent memory and was the family historian. Ruby was a graduate from John Harris High School, enjoyed the Theater, religious shows, baseball, watching westerns and collecting dolls. Ruby leaves to celebrate her life her son Preston Green and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
