Dear Tara, Mary and family,
This is letter is a bit overdue, but I hope you have heard my prayers. Sean was such a special person, witty, sensitive, generous, kind and caring. It is so sad to lose someone this early in life, his life was truly blessed to be loved by so many. Please contact me Tara if you'd like to keep in touch, I think of you often. I am sorry for your loss.

Dear Plunkett Family,
Aaron & I were so shocked and saddened to read in the Creighton Alumni of Sean's passing. We still cannot believe it. Sean and Aaron hung out together in law school and Sean was instrumental in getting Aaron and I together. He surprised us and showed up to our wedding in Illinois in 1993. Sean was so laid back and had the biggest heart. We will miss him! Our thoughts and prayers to out to his family.

Dear Mary, Mary, Tara and Plunkett Family,
Writing Christmas cards, my thoughts turned to those who have enriched my life and to whom I owe a debt of gratitude. The Plunketts quickly came to mind. Having practiced law with Hugh for 24 years, his untimely death was a severe blow and left a void only he could fill. Then, this summer, I was stunned by the news of Sean's passing. The weight of tragedy felt by your family cannot be imagined. Hugh spoke of Sean often, without exception with pride and love. For his part, Sean clearly honored his father and always had a smile and a humility about him whenever we met. I trust these two Irish lads are swappinig stories now, free of the struggles of this world. May God comfort and strength you through this difficult time. My condolescences and best wishes to you all.

Dear Plunkett Family,
I was a roommate, fraternity brother and friend of Sean's at Creighton. I am so sorry for you loss. Sean was so vivacious and was so much fun to be around. I feel truly lucky to have had the honor of experiencing college life with Sean. After all these years I can still hear him singing "vikings, vikings are coming". God bless.

My Deepest Condolences to the Plunkett Family,

As you can see from the most recent entries, the news has spread about Sean's passing within his law school classmates and we are all shocked and sad. As you can tell, Sean touched most everyone in his class. When I think of my time in law school, I always have thought of Sean and how he made that time of my life fantastic. I took a roadtrip to Mardi Gras with some lawschool friends and that included Sean in 1990 and I can honestly say that Sean made that roadtrip one of the best I ever did. Pac-Man good friend!
Mandy and I forward our deepest sympathy to all of you.

Dear Plunkett Family,

I just read today in the Creighton Alum magazine about Sean. I am so sorry for your loss. I attended law school with Sean. He was a great person. I hadn't seen or talked to Sean in several years. I had some family members that needed legal help in Arizona. I contacted Sean and he was so gracious and ended up getting them the help they needed. I am so sorry for your loss.

Dear Plunkett Family, I am really sorry to hear about Sean's passing. I went to Creighton Law School with Sean. Sean had this way of not letting law school overwhelm not only me but many of our classmates. I have never met a more giving person in my life. Sean was always there to help a friend in need or to just cheer you up. Sean will forever be a part of my memory and will always put a smile on my face just thinking about him and the years at Creighton Law. Again I am sorry for your loss and my prayers are with the Plunkett Family.

Dear Plunkett Family,
I am in total shock as I type this note to you.
I was flipping through the latest Creighton Alumni News when my eye stopped dead cold on the news of Sean's passing.
I was a friend of Sean's in undergrad at Creighton. I always enjoyed our laughs together. I had not kept in touch with Sean since I graduated, but always thought he was one of the nicest people I met during my Creighton years.
I hope and pray that your hearts are healing and that this Holiday season is not too painful without the presence of your son, husband, father, and friend.
You are in my thoughts.

Dear Plunkett family:

I am so sorry to hear about Sean. He was my 'Big Brother' in our fraternity at Creighton. I just recently had a conversation with a fellow alumnus from Green Bay who had run into Sean unexpectedly, I had just gotten an update about his family and how well he was doing. I am truly saddened and will keep Sean and your whole family in my family's prayers.

Dear Plunkett Family:
I just learned about Sean passing away. I worked with him at Jones Skelton and he was the most patient, wonderful person to work with. He was kind enough to write me a wonderful letter of recommendation when I left, which I will cherish always. I am truly saddened by his passing. My prayers go out to your family. Yours truly, Marynn Paquette

Dear Plunkett Family,

I worked with Sean at Jones Skelton and became good friends with him. He would routinely walk into my office and crack me up with a funny remark about life or the law. I had great respect for his intellect as a lawyer and we even talked about joining together to co-author an article at one point, which we sadly never followed up on. I am deeply sorry for your loss, and will miss his friendship tremendously. May he rest in peace.

To the Family and Loved Ones of Sean ~

Our deepest condolences to you all. I was so stunned to hear of Sean's passing. Our prayers from across the country will continue to be with you all.
What amazing tributes to see about this fine man. Sean was a classmate of mine growning up in Austin. I too remember him with a smile and a big heart. I also recall him being very couragous. It is quite honorable to see all the wonderful fingerprints Sean has left as his legacy.

To his mother, I cannot imagine your sadness. We are not supposed to see our children go before us. However, what a beautiful thing for you to see the fruits of all you had instilled in and upon him ~ and how he shared his gifts.
To his wife and children, my heart aches for the empty place in your daily lives. May one day soon you find comfort in all his presence that will continue to live on in the three of you. You'll find great joy, I'm quite sure.
To his sister, Tara ~ I have to believe that you will find a new inner strength. I'm sure that you shared a bond that got stronger each year. As Sean's younger sister, his care, guidance, and protection will continue to arm you. Though your conversations will be different, he will still be with you.

Take good care of each other, and let the love and prayers of all who care be an ongoing light of hope and joy. Rejoice in the fact that he is truly home.

Tara,
We were so sad to hear about your sweet brother passing away. David and I both had the pleasure of knowing him through our high school years. We hope that this sad time passes and you are able to find peace again in your lives.

Dear Plunkett Family,
It was my privilege to babysit Sean and Tara back on Turtle Creek. I will always remember how both Sean and Tara always created and delivered their May Day baskets in the most clever way, never getting caught. I am so sorry to hear the news of Sean and will keep all of you in my prayers.

Dear Plunkett Family-

My husband and I were classmates of Sean's at Creighton. We were surprised and saddened to see his obituary.

Sean was in the same fraternity as my husband, Bob. We can still picture him wearing shorts almost all year - even when it was pretty cold outside!

We are so sorry for you loss. We will pray for your family.

May God bless your broken hearts-

The Plunkett Family: I had the great fortune of spending time with Sean during high school. He had a tremendous sense of humor and a tender heart. He was very generous - even going so far as to teach me how to drive a stick shift in his MG (that car was never the same). Your family is in my prayers; may you feel God's peace during this time.

Dear Nina, Margot, Mary Theresa, Mary Anne and Tara –

Although I was few years younger, I have many great memories of Sean while we overlapped one year at the Academy. Sean actually drove me to STMA everyday my freshman year and we had great conversations from Stonebridge Blvd out to Dodd Road. Sean and Hugh were both awesome guys and incredible neighbors. I will never forget their summer party with the Plunkett Family, Eilers Family, Bosrock Family and Culligan Family. Sean, Hugh, Mary and Tara sure knew how to entertain and they all made everyone feel extremely welcome. I am sure Sean and Hugh are now hanging out having a great time enjoying their eternal time in heaven. We will all join them down the road when God decides it is our time to join them. Until then, rest in peace guys and keep guarding over your precious Plunkett Clan!

Peace and God Bless!
