MARCH, Mrs. Susie M. was born July 7, 1928 in Hazel Green-Madison County, Alabama to Elizabeth and Johnnie Pope, Sr. She departed this life on May 21, 2013. She was preceded in death by one son, Burley B. March. She is survived by her husband of 66 years Burley March; daughters Brenda March, Gwen March and Pamela March-Scott; grandchildren Darrick (Tywana) Jones of Akron, Ohio, Davin (Chaka) March of Dayton, Burley R. (Chaunta) March of Columbus, Ohio, Rachel (Colin) Burkette of Clinton, Maryland; six great- grandchildren and one great-great grandson; daughters-in-law Sylvia March and Sandra March. Special cousins Moses Pope of Nashville, TN; special friends Odene Chastain, Willa and Barnell Hampton, Barbara Simpson and Ruby Aikens; adopted children Linda Atwood and Jackie Person. Family will receive visitors 10-11:00 A.M. at H. H. Roberts. Graveside services 11 A.M., Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at Dayton National Cemetery. Senior Pastor Samuel N. Winston Jr. officiating. Pops, Brenda, Gwen and Pam,
Rest in (2 Timothy 4:7) MOMS have fought the good fight, she has finished the race, and kept the faith. As I sit here, I can hear the Lord saying, welcome SUSIE MARCH and "well done, good and faithful servant" (Matthew 25:21).
