TAMARGO Teresita Tamargo Licensed practical nurse, 60 Mrs. Teresita Tamargo, 60, of Howell died at home on Saturday after a long illness. Friends may call at The DElia Funeral Home at Route 70 and Vermont Avenue, Lakewood, on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6:30 to 9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary of the Lake Church in Lakewood at 12 noon Saturday followed by interment in St. Mary of the Lake Cemetery. Born in the Philippines, Mrs. Tamargo came to the United States in 1969 and stayed for a short time in Newark followed by seven years in Lake Hiawatha. She lived in Howell for the past 20 years. Mrs. Tamargo was a licensed practical nurse at Applewood Estates in Freehold for the past 15 years. She was a very enthusiastic gardener with a green thumb. Mrs. Tamargo is survived by her husband of 35 years, Tomas, and her children, Jade Goswick and her husband, John, of Princeton and Pearl Tamargo, at home. She also leaves her mother, Flora Valdez; a sister, Leticia Manzano of Bloomfield, and a sister, Engracia Domingo of Belleville. She will be missed by many dear nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
