Theresa Ann Workman

Theresa Ann Workman was born on May 21st 1954 in Minneapolis Minnesota to Jeremiah and Patricia Haigh. She was the 3rd child joining her older brother Jerry and older sister Gene. Three years later, her last sibling Peggy was born.

At six years old, Terry and her family moved from Minnesota to Phoenix. Living in a modest home, Terry not only shared a bedroom with her two sisters, they also shared a bunk bed set where Terry always got stuck with the middle bunk. Being the middle child, AND middle sister, she got the middle bunk.

She met Thomas in 1974 in a dance club. He asked to borrow her pen to get another girl's phone number. Terry gave him the pen, but then staked her claim. They married shortly afterwards. Tom was a single parent of a two year old son, that Terry took to immediately. She loved, and raised him as her own. Even after Shawn was in his "terrible two's" and her sister Peggy said, "Don't marry that man! His kid is messed up!"

In 1980, she gave birth to her daughter Felicia. Soon after in 1984, she had her son Brandon.

Terry was an amazing mother to all three of her children. She took pride in being a stay at home mom, and being involved with all of her children's activities. She loved being on the PTA board, and helping in all of the classrooms for all of her children.

Terry was an incredible grandmother to her one and only grandson Gunner. She loved to have Gunner up to her home in Paulden where she would cook big meals, play in the sandbox, off road in his go kart, and watch movies together. Grandma and Gunner definitely have a very special relationship.

Terry is survived by her partner Thomas Workman, son Shawn Workman, daughter, Felicia Stoffel, son Brandon Workman, grandson Gunner Stull-Workman, Sisters Gene DeVaux, Peggy Leehe, nephew Jason Hunt, and niece Kim Haigh-Shackelford.
