Mr. McGrady, 83, died Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2002 at the residence of his son in Lilesville, N.C.
Born in Lilesville, N.C., July 4, 1919, he was the son of the late Thomas McGrady and Minnie Bell Sikes McGrady. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and was a textile worker. He was the widower of Mildred Lane McGrady.
Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Jennie McGrady of Lilesville, N.C.; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Anson County.
