I am deeply saddened to learn of Tom's passing. I remeumber Tom fondly as my neighbour across the street who returned home from University and seemed to me to be constantly studying.
He occasionally joined us in playing touch football. Such fun!
My Deepest Sympathy to all of his family.

Tom was a good friend. I will miss his random phone calls, his random comments and his interest in my international work right to his last days. Rest in peace, Tom

On behalf of Canadian World Education Foundation (CWEF) Tanzania, I would like to convey our sincerest condolences. Tom shared his big heart to help other with poor and vulnerable children in Tanzania through supporting our education fundraisers. He spoke at our events, invited his friends and family, donated his books and introduced us to his Kiwanis club. Our hearts go out to his family, especially Karin.

We are sorry to hear of Tom's passing.
His occasional phone calls to reminisce will be missed. In his most recent chat Tom indicated that he wished he were well enough to travel to Orillia to reacquaint himself with his memories of the city and his friends.
I taught Tom for several years at ODCVI and was always impressed by his abilities, sincerity and caring for others. (As well, he was the most handsome student I had in 35 years of teaching!)
I appreciated Tom keeping in touch over the years. We had a sincere understanding of one another. I will miss him.
Deepest sympathy to Karin, George and Paul and their families from Judy (Langman) and myself.

Ann Hannan
I'm so sorry to hear of your loss, Karin. I wonder if you will be going back to live in Germany? You have often talked about it but I still hope to see you at the pool next summer.
