Todd was a sweet man. I too met him in Escoheag on the dance floor in 1995. He was such a gentle man. His battle with cancer throughout the years may have been evident but never did he compalin. His earnest looks and nods were always present. The dance community and the world will miss him. I will miss him. I did not know he was a Vetern of the Vietnam War. I thank you for your service. I am amazed that a man with such a gentle spirit found the strength to withstand that War. Rest in peace Todd. May you always hear the music. Thank you for the dances.

Todd was one of my first dance partners when I entered the Cajun/Zydeco world, on Labor Day Weekend, in 1995 at Escoheag. His charm and gentle manner put me at ease and made me feel welcome. I left that festival knowing this community of warm and fun-loving dancers would change my life, in part from meeting Todd.
By that time his battle with cancer had already begun. His courage and determination even then was humbling. Over the years the struggle took his strength, but his kind, generous, gentle spirit beaconed through, warming all of us in his light. I have to believe that, even now, as we miss him, a small part of Todd will continue to glow, never far from the dance floor.
