FUNERAL TIME
SIRICA, Veneranda
It is with sadness that the Sirica family announces the passing of Veneranda Sirica of Edmonton on June 1, 2014 at the age of 81 years.
Veneranda is survived by six children, Gianna (John) Trulli, Raffaele Sirica, Concetta Sirica, all of Edmonton, Gina Desmeules of Athabasca, Aniello Sirica and Giuseppe (Marialuisa) Sirica, all of Edmonton; eight grandchildren, Marco and Daniella Trulli, Michael, Nicole and Steven Sirica, Charles Desmeules, Sara Sirica and Massimo Sirica; two sisters, Luigina (Armando) Pucci of Edmonton and Fiorina Plastino of Italy; nephew, Michele (Teresa) Bruni of Edmonton; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends, both of Canada and Italy. Predeceased by her loving husband, Antonio; four sisters and numerous other family members.
Special thanks to the Royal Alexandra Hospital staff, in particular the Nephrology team and Hemodialysis Units.
Prayers Wednesday, June 4 at 8:00 p.m. at Santa Maria Goretti Roman Catholic Church, 9110 – 110 Avenue.
Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, June 5 at 9:30 a.m. at Santa Maria Goretti Roman Catholic Church. Reverend Joby Augustin CFIC officiating with entombment in Holy Cross Mausoleum. In lieu of other tributes, donations may be made to the Royal Alexandra Hospital Foundation, 10240 Kingsway Avenue NW, Edmonton, AB T5H 3V9.
