In the late 50's and early 60's, my family and I lived next door to Virginia on Chambers Street. Her yard and flower beds were always beautiful and my son loved to pet "Shine" her blond Cocker Spaniel. She was there when my second son was born at Memorial and had a pink ribbon in her purse to put in "her" hair when she was born..but..he was very much a boy! She was a very special person and I remember her with great fondness.
