Born in Ceccano, Frosinone, Italy on March 12, 1922. On October 1953 Vittoria emigrated to Canada. Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family's love on October 30, 2011 at Heron Terrace at the age of 89 years. Reunited with her loving husband Filippo Savoni (Nov. 23, 2009). Loving mother to her daughter Maria (Mary) Ceolin and husband David McClelland, daughter Francesca (Fran) Rebellato and husband Amadeo (John), daughter Rosa (Rose) Bresolin, daughter in law Mery Savoni, wife to her son, the late Domenico (Dan Savoni). Cherished nonna to her grandchildren Lissa Barron (Ceolin) and husband Bruce, Mark Ceolin and wife Karen Cvornyek, Antony and Tania Ceolin, Devin Rebellato and wife Cindy, Randy Rebellato, J.J. Bresolin and wife Angelique, Chris Bresolin, and Danielle and Adam Savoni. Loving bisnonna to her great grandchildren Elizabeth, P.J., Sara, Michaella, Sebastian, Mattea, Jonathan and Adam. Dear sister to Paolina Liburdi - Italy, predeceased by sister Benedetta and brothers Antonio & Angelo. Survived by sister-in- law Angela DiStefano. Fondly remembered by her dear friends Karin and Kurt Jorgensen. Loving zia to many nieces and nephews. Vittoria retired from Riverview Hospital in Windsor where she was an RNA. Her career was spent in hospital work both in Windsor and Toronto. She enjoyed swimming, taking long walks and travel. Her energetic and caring spirit will be greatly missed. on Tuesday, November 8 th, 2011 from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Parish prayers Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 9th, 2011 at 10:15 a.m. from the funeral home then to St. Anne's Church for Liturgy of Farewell (Eulogy) at 10:45 a.m. followed by a Mass at 11:00 a.m. Entombment at Windsor Memorial Gardens.
