NIXON, Vivian Anita It is with great sadness that the Nixon family shares the passing of our beloved Vivian Anita Nixon, on Tuesday, July 26, 2011, in her 90th year. Loving wife of Charles Joseph Nixon, who predeceased her, and loving mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, and great grandmother. Survived by Don (Janis), and Connor (Carleton Place); Dale (Pat), Justin, Angela, Mark, Charlie, and Max (North Carolina); Valerie (Ken) and Emma (Dunrobin); Debbie (Bill), Sarah, and Lauren (Kemptville); and Aron, Ann-Sofie, Oskar, and Max (Norway). Vivian's kindness and cheerful optimism, combined with a special ability to establish lasting relationships between herself, her family, and her many friends in all walks of life, will never be forgotten. The family would like to especially thank the very kind and caring staff of the Ottawa Cancer Clinic, the 5th floor east of the Ottawa General Hospital, and the At-Home Hospice. "A Celebration of Life" service will be held at the Beechwood Cemetery on Saturday, August 27th, 2011, at 12:30 in the Sacred Space Chapel. Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, if you wish to make a donation in memory of Mom, please consider the Salvation Army, or other charity of your choice.

Both Neil and I worked with Vivian in Chomedey and have strong memories of her infectious good humour and warm personality. We are so sorry to hear of her passing. Our sincere condolences to all the family.
