What sad news to hear about Barry. My thoughts are with you, KC and family. I had the pleasure of knowing Barry during my years as Postmaster in Elkins. He always had a smile and good thoughts to share. I know he will be missed by many.

I just saw this and wanted to say how sorry I am to hear of Barry's passing. What a wonderful tribute to a wonderful man! We will miss seeing him at DHMC. He always had a warm smile while pushing patients around the campus. He was almost always in a conversation with the patients, helping them feel comfortable in an uncomfortable situation. Dear KC, it is of great sadness to learn of dear Barry’s passing . Lots of great memories of you both in West Chester and our trip to the lake for a visit many moons ago ! It was such an honor to know Barry. He was such a gentle and positive man whose stories about the founding of the chain of WaWa stores and gas stations never stopped amazing me. Thanks Barry for all the bagels too.

Barry was a volunteer extraordinaire at DHMC - always ready with a smile to help whoever needed help in whatever way he could. This extended to staff as well, and I will always be grateful that Barry was willing to take a newbie Volunteer Director under his wing and teach me some of the ropes in a large system. He also worked tirelessly to advocate for patients and visitors in order to make everyone's experience better in what could be a stressful and overwhelming time for many. He will be missed. My sincerest sympathies to your entire family.

Barry was the sweetest; a kind gentleman, one of the few true gentle men i have ever known. Seeing him cuddle with Fritz, being so patient and loving, is a memory I will always cherish. My condolences to you, and all of Barrys family.

Barry was my neighbor, the best I could imagine. His generosity of spirit gave a new meaning to the word '"neighbor."
I join you in mourning the loss to all of our lives.

Spent many a day with Barry when he volunteered at DHMC. He was a very giving man and helpful to all who came through the front door at the hospital. My deepest condolences to the family.
