William Bludworth Obituary
William Talley Bludworth, passed away peacefully on April 6, 2016.
Talley was born in Panama City on September 17, 1935 to Gertrude and Walter Bludworth. He graduated from Bay High School and Florida State University where he was a Varsity Letterman for the golf team. His love for golf started at a young age at Panama Country Club, where he continued to play for many years.
Talley married Patricia Ann Davis March 16,1957 at the First Presbyterian Church of Panama City. They were blessed to share fifty- nine years of marriage together, especially enjoying their family and friends.
Talley's successful career in the insurance business garnered him many awards, including being a long time member of the Million Dollar Round Table. Talley was a supporting member of the Panama City Seminole Boosters. He was also a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Panama City.
Talley is survived by his wife Pat; their children Angela Miller (Lawrence), Brenda Cohenour, William Talley Bludworth, Jr. (Lisa) and Kendall Jennings (Bruce); his grandchildren Bruce Robert Cohenour, Jr. (Rebecca), Colby Cohenour, Davis Miller, Kendall Miller, Katie Bludworth, William Jennings, Blake Jennings and Brooke Anne Jennings.
Funeral services will be held Friday, April 8, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Kent Forest Lawn Home, led by Pastor Ron Brown of First Presbyterian Church of Panama City. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Covenant Hospice, 107 W. 19th St. Panama City, FL 32405 or the charity of your choice.
