William P. Rowland

HANOVER William P. Rowland, 70, died Sunday, November 11, 2007, at Hanover Hall Nursing Center. Born February 4, 1937 in Baltimore, Md., William was a son of the late Alvin T. and Kathryn (Dubbs) Rowland. He was employed, for 25 years, with R.H. Shepherd, Hanover, retiring in 1999 and was employed prior to that with Aspen Tree Service. He was an avid fan of NASCAR, especially a fan of #3 Dale Earnhardt and an avid fan of the Baltimore Orioles. Bill also played Minor League Baseball in the 1950's. Surviving is one sister, Carole Lee Mackley of Manheim; three brothers, Ronald Rowland of Spring Grove, Ricci Rowland of Hanover, Dwayne Rowland of Hanover; and a dear friend, Margaret "Sis" Odell of Hanover. He was preceded in death by a brother, Ted Rowland. Services are private and at the convenience of the family.
