Willie Mae (Bill) Jordan Blythe, 94, of Lufkin, was born January 13, 1912, in Enterprise, Alabama, the daughter of the late Willie Henry (Edwards) and John Rochel Cotten. She passed away Friday, November 24, 2006, in a local hospital. Mrs. Blythe was a homemaker, and a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She could do anything she set her mind to, and always made the best of all situations. Mrs. Blythe was a member of Homer United Methodist Church. She is survived by her daughter, Frances P. Hyatt of Lufkin; daughter and son-in-law, Helen Marie and Earl Rohrbaugh of Cortez, Colorado; grandchildren, Sharon Hyatt, Linda Gauthier, Martha Speckles, Karl Rohrbaugh and Amy Palermo; 11 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Blythe was preceded in death by her husbands, Paul L. Jordan in 1976 and Allen G. Blythe in 2000; 1 sister; and 2 brothers. Graveside services for Mrs. Blythe will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, November 27, 2006, in the Fielder Cemetery, with Reverend Michael Jordan officiating. Friends are kindly invited to visit with the family from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday evening at Gipson-Metcalf Funeral Home. Gipson-Metcalf Funeral Directors; Joni Johnson, Director
