Yoshiyuki Shinohara

Yoshiyuki Shinohara February 18, 1936 - December 17, 2017 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Yoshiyuki "Mark" Shinohara. Yoshiyuki passed quietly and comfortably surrounded by his family and friends at Burnaby Hospital. Predeceased by his parents, brothers and sisters, he is survived by his wife Junko "June", daughters Noriko and Asuko (Victor), and extended families in Japan, Northern Ireland, and Mexico. The family would like to offer a special heartfelt thank you to the St. Paul's Hospital Kidney Care Clinic for their care and understanding over the years and to the Burnaby Hospital 3C Unit for their compassionate care in the final days of Yoshiyuki's life. A private funeral service was held on December 23, 2017. In lieu of flowers and koden, please make a donation to St. Paul's Hospital Foundation Kidney Care Clinic in Yoshiyuki's memory.
