Darryl Jones

Darryl Anthony Jones April 18, 1955 - October 20, 2023 Darryl, fondly known as Tony, was born to Irene and Clifford Jones, Sr. on April 18, 1955, in New York City, New York. He served in the United States Army and joined First Baptist Church in Woodlawn, OH at a young age under the late Reverend E.L. Benson. Darryl will always be remembered by his loving and kind spirit, charming sense of humor, and friendly personality. Darryl has joined the heavenly family reunion with his mother, father and brother, Clifford Jones, Jr. He will be truly missed Darryl Anthony Jones, age 68, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away on October 20, 2023. Darryl is survived by: two daughters, Jasmine Young (Dione Young) and April Jones; five grandchildren, Ziya Young, Zoie Young, Zari Young, Megaa Grandberry and Amei Grandberry; fiancé, Tracie Owens; his sister, Mary Sue Jones, his niece, Irene Jones; two great nieces, Zion Parker and Kaya Parker; three nephews, Clifford Quincy Jones, James Jones and Chance Jones, and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation is from 3:00 pm until 4:00 pm, on Saturday, November 4, 2023, at the Walker Event Center, 3939 Reading Road (Corner of Reading and Paddock), Cincinnati (45229). The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 4:00 pm.
