Bonnie Law Obituary

Bonnie E. Law Bonnie E. Law, age 65, died April 17, 2009, after a long ill ness.She was born April 11, 1944, in Yonkers, N.Y., daughter of the late Frederick G. and Eleanor (Bystrom) Law. She was a resident of Waterbury for the past four years. Prior to that, she lived in Stamford for 20 years and the Danbury area for more than 20 years. She had a bachelor's degree in education and master's degree in psychology where she had her own practice. She was also employed in the Wellpoint Insurance Co. as a claims adjuster. Survived by a daughter, Laurie A. (photographer) and husband, Richard H. Mix of Sorrento, Fla.; and two sisters, Attorney Laurie Law of Tacoma, Wash., and Dorothy Hoobler (author) and husband, Thomas, of New York, N.Y. Funeral service will be held Sunday, April 26, with cremains present at Deliniks-Conway Funeral Home, 17 Congress Ave., Waterbury. Calling hours from 2 to 4 p.m. Burial at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Conn. Hospice, 270 Farmington Ave., Suite 235, Farmington 06032.

Bonnie led Freudian Flicks, a movie group in Bethel, CT. Those Saturday mornings are one of my fondest memories. She will be analyzing movies in a better place. I miss you, Bonnie!
