DeeAnne Clara Roberts-Jessup

1942 - 2024

DeeAnne passed away April 5th at the Vienna care facility in Lodi, surrounded by family after a years long battle with cancer.
She was born May 2nd 1942 to Jon and Bertha Domich at Mercy San Juan Hospital in Sacra-mento, where her mother Bertha,  worked as a nurse. She had the unfortunate experience of contracting polio around her 9th birthday and spent months in an iron lung, which resulted in her right arm being partially paralyzed. This episode early on only made her stronger and more resilient for the rest of her life, a true fighter for those she loved and for those less fortunate.
She graduated from Sacramento High School in 1960. In 1962 she married Jeffrey Savage Roberts of Galt. She worked for New York Life for 42 years, retiring as Office Manager of the March Ln branch in Stockton. DeeAnne had the tremendous honor of being named Miss Lodi District 1965-66. Some-thing she cherished her entire life.
DeeAnne is survived by three sons, Ray, Kurt and Colby. Her family would like to thank Colby's wife Tanya for being a tremendous help in her later years, and grandchildren Army SPC Will, and Sara , both whom she loved with all her heart.
After retiring, she resided in Valley Springs in the La Contenta community enjoying the beautiful surroundings and wildlife, as well as hanging out with her Bunco gang.
A funeral and celebration of life will be held at 1:30 on April 23rd at St.Mary's Cemetery and Funeral Center , 6509 Fruitridge Rd. in Sacramento. All are welcome.
