Jane and Manuel Rocha Jr.

Manuel Rocha, Jr and Jane Rocha shared a love emulating that of a fairytale. Their love story began in 1968, when Manuel and Jane shared their first dance at the local Elk Grove Festa. Beautifully, this first danced blossomed into a compassionate marriage of 50 years. Manuel and Jane created a fulfilling life for themselves along the way. In their younger years, Manuel and Jane owned and operated their own dairy. Manuel was a local volunteer firefighter and certified first-aid instructor while Jane worked in the local pediatrician's office. Through hard work, they developed their dream home encompassing the pleasure of country living. As their love continued to grow, they wanted nothing more than to share their life and love with children. Raising their daughter, Kelly, and their son, Christopher, was surely their greatest joy. In their later years, Jane spent her days embraced by her grandchildren while Manuel continued his voluntary work with the community he loved.
Manuel Rocha, Jr. passed away on September 19, 2023 at the age of 71. Shortly thereafter, Jane Rocha reunited with her love beyond the gates of Heaven on September 26, 2023 at the age of 69. Manuel and Jane are survived by their brother Tony, sister Mary (Herculano), brother Frank (Theresa), sister Elsie (Dave), daughter Kelly (Deseron), son Christopher (Katelyn), and their grandchildren Deseron Jr., Kieron, Lyeron, and Noah.
Manuel and Jane will be honored with a recitation of the Holy Rosary and Memorial Mass on November 10, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Joachim Catholic Church located at 13392 E Lockeford Ranch Road, Lockeford, CA 95237. A reception will be held at the church following the service. In lieu of flowers, Manuel and Jane wished that donations be made to their place of worship, the St. Joachim Catholic Church. Manuel and Jane will lie to rest at the Galt-Arno Cemetery.
