Brian Walter Obituary
Brian Walter of New Rochelle, died Friday, March 18 after a long illness. He was 22 years old. Brian was born in Bronxville, NY, to Michael and Linda Walter. He attended Iona College and also worked part time at Globe Fence in New Rochelle. Brian enjoyed playing golf, shopping and traveling. Along with his beloved parents, Brian is survived by a brother, Michael Walter II, and sister, Brittney Walter. His maternal grandparents William and Nancy DeMase, paternal grandmother Connie Walter and many aunts and uncles also survive him. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Pius X Church, 91 Secor Road, Scarsdale, NY on Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at 10:00AM. Friends may call Sunday and Monday from 2-4pm & 7-9pm at the Ballard-Durand Funeral Home, 2 Maple Avenue at South Broadway, White Plains, NY. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Brian's Foundation of Hope, 121 Surrey Drive, New Rochelle, NY 10804.

Dear Mr. & Mrs. Walter & family:
We were saddened to hear of Brian's passing. As you are aware we also have a daughter who is still battling this horrid disease but who continues to be a strong survivor. We will be purchasing a Luminaria in memory of Brian to be displayed at the ACS Relay for Life in Middle Village held this year for 2 days on June 25th & 26th. We are keeping you in our thoughts and prayers.
