Edward Molnar Obituary
Yonkers - Edward J. Molnar, Jr., of Yonkers, passed away on April 4, 2021. Son of Edward and Florence Molnar. Edward graduated from Sacred Heart High School, class of 1953. He served in the U.S. Army from 1955 to 1963. He proudly worked for Nyahay & Sons Soda Co. and was a retiree of Con Edison and Yonkers Raceway. Anyone who knew him heard countless stories of all three. A true outdoorsman, he loved fishing, hunting and spending time at his cabin in Preston Hollow.
He is survived by a son, Kevin Molnar and his wife Theresa, grandchildren and lights of his world, Nathaniel, Kathryn and Samantha; and his daughter Maryann Williams and her husband Hale. Predeceased by his bride and love of his life, Jeannette Fedak Molnar, who he is now reunited with.
Cheers to an amazing, selfless Pop. Or as he would say "Here's to us. Who's like us? Dam few."
Calling hours will be at Flynn Memorial Home, on Central Park Avenue, on Thursday from 4pm to 8pm. Funeral Mass Friday, 11 am, at Saint Peter's Church. Interment will follow at Saint Joseph's Cemetery, both in Yonkers, NY.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
