NORMA KAUFMAN Obituary

Norma Kaufman, of Irvington, NY, passed away on June 19, 2007 at her residence. She was 80. Mrs. Kaufman worked as a Vice President of Manufacturers Hanover Trust in New York City. She was with the company for 48 years before retiring. Norma was born September 5, 1927 in New York City to Luigi and Silvia De Clemente Moricone. She married Peter Kaufman in New York City. He died in 1990. Mrs. Kaufman lived in Irvington for the past 32 years. Before that, she lived in the Bronx. Locally, she was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Irvington. She Volunteered at Phelps Hospital for 10 years and gave generously to numerous charities. She was survived by one brother, David C. Mariconi; two nieces, Patricia Del Bianco and Michelle Mariconi; nephews, David, Thomas, Christopher and Stephen Mariconi, Michael, Eugene, John and Donald Baliga and Robert Mariconi and many friends. Deceased family members include her husband, Peter; one brother, Emil and three sisters, Mary, Clara and Palmina; one niece, Barbara Cioffi and Thomas Baliga. Visitation Thursday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at Dwyer Funeral Home, Tarrytown. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday at 11 am at Immaculate Conception Church, Irvington. Interment to follow at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Phelps Hospice or The American Cancer Society.
