Ms. Hamby will always hold a special place in my heart. As one of my grandmother´s YaYa crew, she was there for every major milestone in my life. She was one of the most caring people I have had the pleasure of knowing. She touched so many lives. My family and I will always remember her fondly.

I was going through the obits for a friend´s father that had passed when I came across Ms. Hamby. I´m so sorry to learn of her passing. She was my second grade teacher at Watson Lane in 1978. Such a warm lady, rest in peace
