I was privileged to know and care for Mr. Behr for a very short while. Yet in that short time I grew to admire his strength and integrity. I saw him as a man of principle and good character. But most of all his strong will and determination. I will be forever enriched from knowing him and having heard the stories regarding his sacred pilgrimage. And I will keep those found memories and the laughs in a special place in my heart forever. Rest easy Mr. Behr and I love you ❤

I am so sorry to hear of Mr. Behr's passing. I know this is long ago but when I was in the 6th grade I had his first wife, Simone Behr, as a teacher. When she passed I sent a note to Mr. Behr and he gracefully sent me a reply. I still remember that to this day and I'm now 65. So sorry for the family's loss. He seemed to be a wonderful man.
