James Childers Obituary

CHILDERS, JAMES MICHAEL "MIKE," 52, of Louisville, died Friday, September 30, 2005 at his home. Mike was a native of Norfolk, NE, a self employed artist, a 1972 graduate of Carmi (IL)Community Unit High School and a US Navy veteran during the Vietnam era. He is survived by his wife, Terry Todd-Childers; sisters, Patsy Newell,Linda Murchison, Cynthia Young and Pamela Pettijohn; and stepsons, Michael Todd and Christopher Todd. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, October 3, 2005, at Ratterman & Sons, 3800 Bardstown Road, with visitation from noon-1 p.m. Cremation was chosen. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Little Sisters of the Poor, 15 Audubon Plaza, Louisville, KY 40217.
