Judith Welsh Obituary
70, of Louisville, passed peacefully Monday January 12, 2015 surrounded by family at Norton Hosparus Pavilion.
Judy was born in Louisville to the late Raymond "Zeek" and Catherine Curry. She was a graduate of Mercy High School and had worked at PNC Bank, and for many years at H & R Block. She was a longtime member of St. Polycarp Catholic Church, now St. Peter the Apostle.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Mary May; brother in law, Don Ansert; sisters in law, Barbara Kline and Marie Warren.
She is survived by her husband of just shy of 51 years, John E. Welsh; three children, Cindy Welsh, Scott Welsh (Laura) and Becky Barnett (Michael); five grandchildren who she adored, Danielle, Clay, Ashley, Chad and Paige; a sister, Joan Ansert; brother-in-law, George May; sister-in-law, Stella Yeager; many nieces and nephews and a host of cousins and friends who were like sisters and brothers to her.
We would like to say a special thanks to Dad for his outstanding care of mom over these past several years.
Funeral Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated 11am Friday, January 16, 2015 at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, 5431 Johnsontown Road, followed by cremation. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Thursday at Ratterman Grand Chapels, 4832 Cane Run Road.
Expressions of sympathy to St. Vincent de Paul or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

I AM A SAD , I REMEMBER JUDY AS MARY'S LITTLE SISTER/ I WENT TO MERCY WITH MARY AND WE ALL WERE GREAT FRIENDS..MARY. BETTY. PAT AND ME. I SPENT MAY TIMES DOWN AT THE HOUSE ON 38th ST. I saw JUDY the last Time we got our tags renewed. JUDY was fun and very pretty and the dark hair, I AM SORRY FOR THE LOSS. IT IS JOAN THAT IS LEFT.

I am so sorry for your loss. Judy was a very nice lady and I liked her a lot. She is a friend of my Aunt Pharol's and she always did my tax returns for me. She will be missed.

When we all moved to the Neighborhood you and John and my Mom and Dad were young. All of us kids became friends and since I was a couple of years older than the others I got to be the babysitter of all the kids in the neighborhood. You will be missed on this earth but are going to a wonderful place. Please tell my Daddy I said Hi and to keep saving me a place. Love to you all.
