I grew up at 1020 Berry across from Mildred and Ham. They were absolutely wonderful neighbors. Ham once prevented someone from stealing a hubcap off of my Father's car. When we moved from there Mildred said she would miss watching all the comings and goings because my Mother was one of 13 children, and we had a lot of visitors. I just now learned that she had passed. Ben King

I am so sorry that I was out of town when Millie passed and did not have the chance to honor and remember her at her celebration of life. I will always remember her and my Mom in the cake booth... her special place... And what a special life she had. I have known her forever and she was ALWAYS kind and sweet to everyone. She had such a special soul, with a special place reserved for her in heaven. God Bless

To All Of You:
I knew Millie from SS. M & E Hospital, our priest has both churches -SS.Simon & Jude and Most Blessed Sacrament. She would sometimes come to SS. Simon & Jude. She was such a good lady. She will be missed at SS. M & E Hospital. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers at this most difficult time.

My parents were friends of Millie & Ham. She was very active for years. When I worked in the area of her neighborhood I saw her walking all over and often doing yard work. She was a kind friendly lady.
God rest her soul.

We are so sorry for your loss. She will be dearly missed in the neighborhood. It was like having our grandma living next door to us.

I loved Millie, she was so sweet, funny and loved to giggle! We brought each other scratch offs and hoped she won! She loved her biscuits and gravy, her 'something sweet' and her Mitzi. She was an amazing lady. St. Mary's will remember her always and we are blessed to know and love her. God bless her and may she live forever in heaven with Hamie, Dorothy and Christ.

What a wonderful lady Mrs. Matthews was. I grew up on Dresden and when I was small, I believe Dick and Margaret were our next door neighbors. My folks were in St. Mary's quite often and Mrs. Matthews was so kind and helpful. Very sorry to hear of her passing.
