Ruth Dickson Obituary

DICKSON, RUTH IDA, 78, of Shively, joined her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday March 21, 2010.

She was the former Ruth Bauer, a retired file clerk for the old U.S.F. & G., a member of the Virginia Avenue United Methodist Church, and the Order Of Eastern Star Crescent Hill Chapter.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Dean Dickson, and a brother, Donald Bauer.

She is survived by a son, Chris Dickson (Gloria); brothers, Ernest (Sissy), Stewart (Doris), and Bruce Bauer (Susan); a sister, Catherine Hough (Ray); seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

A service to celebrate Mrs. Dickson's life will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 3601 Taylor Blvd. with burial to follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Tuesday and after 11 a.m. on Wednesday.
