William Smalley Obituary
93, of Louisville, passed away Monday, October 16, 2017 at Nazareth Home Clifton.
Bill was born in Louisville to the late Charles E. and Mabel R. Mitchell Smalley. He was a retired electrical engineer and past President of the Naval Fleet Reserve. Bill was a proud U. S. Navy veteran of World War II.
Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife Agnes Regina Wagner Smalley; as well as three brothers, Norbert, Earl and Don Smalley.
Remaining to cherish his memory are his children, Bill Smalley, Jr., Kathie Wiedemer and Ken Smalley (Tammy); grandchildren, Eric Smalley (Di), Amanda Wiedemer, Vanessa Bottoms (Jeremy), Kenny Smalley (Nano), Justin Smalley (Pui) and Scott Smalley; as well as six great-grandchldren.
A graveside service will be held at 11 AM Friday, October 20, 2017 at Highland Memory Gardens, Mount Washington, Ky. Visitation will be 5 - 8 PM Thursday, October 19, 2017 at Ratteman & Sons Funeral Home, 3800 Bardstown Road.
Donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in his memory. Online condolences may be directed to www.ratterman.com.

So, so sorry to hear of Bill's passing. I got to know him from his time at the Altenheim. What a character, always had a smile on his face. He will really be missed.

What a remarkable impression this dear man left on the Nazareth Home family. His piano playing was entertaining but that smile was the best!....to see the others around him enjoying all those old songs of days gone by...he gave us all some happy memories to cherish!
