Jody Taylor Obituary

Jody L. (Plaistek) Taylor
of Dracut; 41

DRACUT, MA -- Jody L. (Plaistek) Taylor, 41, beloved daughter, mother, and aunt, died Sunday, January 29, 2017, after years of struggling with addiction.

Jody was born in Lowell, a daughter of Brenda (Eacrett) and William Plaistek, both of Dracut. She graduated from Lowell Vocational High School, class of '93 and received her Associates Degree in Respiratory Care from Northern Essex Community College. For many years, she worked as a certified respiratory therapist at Mount Auburn Hospital.

Jody was a beautiful and caring person, with an extraordinary sense of humor. Her smile could light up a room. As a young women, her kindness and compassion shined. In recent years, addiction didn't allow for her to focus on what she loved most, her sons and family. However, their love for her was never in question.

Along with her parents, Jody is survived by her two sons, Brandon Gendron (12) and David Taylor (8); her brother, Billy Plaistek Jr. and his companion, Joanne Santostefano of Dracut; nephews, Jake and Ryan Plaistek of Mont Vernon, NH; maternal grandmother, Beatrice Mcluin of Lowell; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

TAYLOR -- Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects on FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 3, 2017 from 3-7 p.m. with a service to follow at 7 p.m., at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Avenue, Dracut. Burial will take place at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the H.A.R.T House, 365 East St., P.O.
