Jean Clements

Jean Clements Lansing Age 93, passed away May 7, 2011 in Charlotte. She was born in Eaton Rapids December 5, 1917 the daughter of Byron and Mabel (Mellon) Puffer. Jean was a member of the Asbury United Methodist Church. She was active in RSVP. Jean worked at the Lansing Parks and Recreation teaching weaving and ceramics. She was also an avid square dancer with the Foxy Squares. Jean is survived by her children, Frank, (Ellen) Clements of Wheaton, IL, Linda (Bill) McQueen of Caro, Dan (Kris) Clements of Eaton Rapids, Glen Clements of Sebastopol, CA; 6 grandchildren, Andrew and Amy Clements, Catherine (Tim) Slattery, Robert (Erika) McQueen, Caitlin Clements, Lindsay (Russell) Thorn; 5 great-grandchildren; brothers, Jack (Joanne) Puffer of Lansing, Charles (Janet) Puffer of OH; sister, Becky Kennedy of AZ; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Clements. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday May 11, 2011 at the Shelly-Odell Funeral Home, 518 S. Main St. Eaton Rapids, MI with Rev. Marty DeBow officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Interment will be at Chapel Hill Cemetery in Lansing.
