Lee Dibble Obituary

Lee Harley Dibble Lansing Age 85, passed away June 12, 2012. He was born July 17, 21926 in Holloway, Michigan to Donald and Norma Dibble and they preceded him in death. Lee was a veteran of the United States Navy serving as an Air Cadet during WWII; and later was the owner and operator of ServiceMaster for 18 years. Lee was an active member at Central United Methodist Church, where he was a Sunday school teacher, Basketball coach, president of the men's club, a volunteer for the Thursday Open Door Ministry fellowship lunch, and a Boy Scout Master. He enjoyed photography, ice skating, golf and tennis. Lee is survived by his wife of 63 years, Nancy Dibble; their children: Dr. David (Maria) Dibble, and Diane (Mark) Erickson; grandchildren: Michael (Alyse) Erickson, Dr. Carl (Elizabeth) Erickson, Dustin Dibble and Shannon Dibble; and brothers: Dee (Chris) Dibble, Dorne Dibble and Kris Ericson, and Lyn Dibble. There will be a memorial service held 11:00 a.m. Sunday, June 24, 2012, at the Central United Methodist Church, 215 N. Capitol Ave., Lansing, with the Rev. Ronald Brooks officiating. The family will receive friends thirty minutes prior to service time at the church. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or to the Central United Methodist Church Choir. Arrangements are by the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel.
