Lynwood Marier Obituary

Lynwood "Lyn" Marier Lansing Passed away October 20, 2009 at age 73. Born November 11, 1935 in Lansing to Hugo and Margaret Marier. Lyn served honorably in the United States Army from November 10, 1958 to November 1, 1960. He retired from General Motors where he worked at plant 3 for 41 years. He coached The Generals youth football team for 22 years. Lyn was a loving husband, father, and grandfather that will be missed dearly by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife, Linda (Beardslee) Marier; children, Lynwood Scott (Lisa) Marier, Sharon Colleen Marier, Phillip Eugene Marier; grandchildren, Zachary Marier, Mitchell Marier, Allison Marier, Ryan Rubelman, Michael Grinnell; Brother, Richard (Barbara) Marier; Sister, Marlene Barker. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, October 28, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends on Saturday, October 24 from 4-6p.m . at Chapel in the Pines Funeral Home. I remember Lyn when we were kids and he would all ways get every body laughing so hard we could not stand it. I had not seen him in 57 years and was glad to see him in the fall 2007. When my self and my wife Dianne Had visited the Mariers of Lansing---Bob Marier
