Barbara Lane

Barbara Lane LUBBOCK-Barbara Lane, 86, longtime resident of Lubbock, Texas, was called home by her Lord Jesus Christ on June 22, 2015, after a lengthy illness. She was born May 3, 1929, to George and Carmen Thomas in Colorado City, Texas. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 31 years, Royce Lane; sister, Elizabeth Harrod; and a grandson. She is survived by her children, Vern Hudnall and wife, Darlena, Fran Shaw and husband, Mack, and Laura Goodwyn and husband, Monty. She is also survived by brothers, Ralph Thomas, Richard Thomas, and George Thomas; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 25, 2015, at Resthaven Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, June 26, 2015, at Bethany Baptist Church, 4402 40th St. in Lubbock with interment to follow in the City of Lubbock Cemetery.
