Panzie Jane Blaine Biggs

Panzie Jane Blaine Biggs CYRIL, OK-Panzie Jane Blaine Biggs, 80, of Lubbock, Texas, went to join the love of her life, Richard Biggs in a heavenly reunion on March 1, 2014. Panzie was born on July 20, 1933, to James and Velma Blaine of Snyder, OK. After graduating from Oklahoma College for Women in 1953, she married Richard and began a full career of teaching school. Panzie's love for teaching touched so many students and fellow teachers for over 25 years. Panzie had the most beautiful blue eyes and an infectious smile that lit up the room. Panzie loved spending time with her family and friends. She was the biggest fan at her grandchildren's sporting events and activities. She enjoyed traveling, shopping, gardening, and going out to eat. She was active in her church, retired teachers, and Lifelong Learning at Texas Tech. On game days, you can bet Panzie had on her red and black in support of her Red Raiders. Panzie lived a rich, healthy, full life. She is survived by her children, Penny Creech and husband, Harol of Pyote, Texas, Jill Hollowell and husband, Jason of Dallas, Texas, and Jim Biggs; grandchildren Bristen, BreAnn, Lacee, and Kylie Creech, and Kaden and Kameron Hollowell; sisters, Velma Reser and husband, Norman, Barbara Smith and husband, Gene, and Jimmie Marshall; mother-in-law, Emily Biggs; along with many nieces and nephews, and her four-legged companion, Sugar. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her sister, Panatha Callahan and husband, Roger; brother-in-law, Clyde Marshall; and sister-in-law, Donita Lilly and husband, Richard; and father-in-law, Dick Biggs. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, March 5, at Cyril Church of Christ in Cyril, OK. Burial will follow at the Celestial Gardens in Cyril under the direction of the Fletcher Funeral Home.
