1968 - 2014

DAVID HARTLEY David J. Hartley, of N. Las Vegas, passed away the morning of Dec.1, 2014, in his home, as a result of cancer. David was born Nov. 2, 1968, in Pittsburgh, the fourth son of Mary Judith and Francis George Hartley. At the age of 15, he met the love of his life, Poonam. He was a singer, songwriter and performer. He taught himself various instruments at a young age, and was very talented. He moved his family to Las Vegas in 2003, after Poonam was diagnosed with lupus. She passed away later that year. He was a family man who loved to make people laugh. He had a light that shined out of him of pure love and the most contagious smile. He was preceded in death by his brother, Steven; and his father, Francis Hartley. He is survived by his mother, Mary Judith Hartley; and his brothers and sisters, Mark (Dawn), Greg, Beth (Josh) Sacks and Mary Jo (Steve) Imbarlina. He was also survived by his four daughters, Shieka (Frank) Villa, Shyra, Shayden and Naylah Hartley; and his granddaughter, Shreya, all of whom he loved more than anything. Services were previously held.
