Joseph Molnar Obituary

Joseph Louis Molnar, 61, of Las Vegas, passed away July 22, 2006, in Las Vegas. He was born April 8, 1945, in East Chicago, Ind., to John and Jullia Molnar. Joseph was a cab driver in Las Vegas. He was a resident of Las Vegas for 23 years, and had previously resided in Munster, Ind., for 38 years. Joseph was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, having served two tours in Vietnam. He was a member of Steelworkers union #711A. Joseph was preceded in death by his parents, John and Jullia Molnar; and sister, Evy Brodin. He is survived by his wife, of 26 years, Pat Molnar of Las Vegas; sons, Terry Paul (Annabelle) of Las Vegas, Tim Paul (Jennifer) of Las Vegas, Shawn Lindborg of Chico, Calif., Joey Molnar of Portage, Ind., and Jacob Molnar of Munster, Ind.; daughters, Christina Eisenberg (Adam) of Boulder City, and Jullia Molnar of Munster, Ind.; sister, Judean Faggas of Highland, Ind.; brother, John Molnar of Munster, Ind.; and seven grandchildren, Mackenzie, Ashlee, Madison, Dylan, Evan, Tyler and Bethany. A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Thursday, July 27, at the Community Lutheran Church, 3720 E. Tropicana Ave., Las Vegas. Contributions may be made to Safe Nest, 702-257-3800. Boulder City Family Mortuary handled arrangements.
