I know your with your buddies now .How happy you must be.I know how sad you were ,one by one your friends were leaving you. You know how much we will miss you ,especially the calls to all of us,and we would talk about all the memories. My most precious one being when you and Lou surprised us at our 40th anniversary party. I still have the copy of the wonderful speech you wrote. I remember the twinkle in your eyes when you talked about your precious grand children. I will miss when you would tease me about going to my favorite pizza place in your town. How my son and Deb loved you Joe. I will never forget your support when I was ill.You always cheered me on in my career, and I know how proud you were of me and all of us back in Pittsburgh. You have left quite a legacy,my friend and we are so fortunate that God sent you to us all. Goodbye my friend .

I miss you Cump. I still can't believe you're gone. I wish I could have talked to you just one last time. I don't know who I'll talk to about sports and life in general. I'll miss all your great stories of growing up on LA. I know how much you missed my Dad. I will miss all the great stories and memories you shared. I will cherish forever. Rest easy Cump and know that we will be praying for your beautiful Louise and family. Until we meet again...Eddie and Deborah V.

I have fond memories of Mr. Angell, when he was a Coach for the Green Hornets, with my dad, George Leshan. My dad really loved and respected Joe as our whole family did and my deepest sympathies go out to Louise and their family. Nancy Leshan DuChene

I remember Joe from many family visits; he was of my mother's generation. I couldn't talk to him for more than 10 minutes without learning something. He was a good, smart, & kind man with an abundance of empathy & understanding.
My deepest sympathy to Louise & the rest of his family.
