Pat played at a very high level of softball on a team that included several Minnesota Viking players in the early 1980's. Pat was also an accomplished Racquetball player and instructor as a state-ranked tournament player for several years. Pat was predeceased by his parents, and he is survived by his children, Jody (Andrew) Heilman and Nic Russell. As well as his grandchildren, Henry and Katelyn Heilman all of Minnesota. Pat is also survived by his very special friend of 6 years, Elizabeth Sweet, and her three adult children, Kathryn Coleman, Roxanne Johnson and Curtis Johnson also from St. Paul Minnesota, his siblings, William H.
