Katherine Schillen Obituary

Katherine White Schillen -MACON, GA - Katherine White Schillen, 84, passed away on Tuesday, October 23, 2007. Graveside services will be held on Friday, October 26, 2007 at 11A.M. in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with Dr. Bob Setzer, Jr. officiating. -Mrs. Schillen was the daughter of the late William Barker and Mary Irene White. She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-eight years, Gordon L. Schillen; brother, Edwin White and sister, Mary Ellen Bryant. Mrs. Schillen was retired from Robins Air Force Base and was a member of First Baptist Church and was the founder and director of the Keenagers at First Baptist Church. She was on the Board of Trustees for the Baptist Village in Waycross, Georgia. -She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Stewart of Macon; grandson, Rusty Stewart of Macon; several nieces and nephews, including Wayne and Joan Bryant of Macon. -Donations may be made to Bolingreen Nursing Home, 529 Bolingreen Drive, Macon, GA 31210. The family would like to thank the staff for the special care given to Mrs. Schillen. -The family will greet friends at Macon Memorial Park Funeral on Thursday, October 25, 2007 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. -Macon Memorial Park Funeral and Cemetery has charge of the arrangements.
