Vera Ford Obituary
Macon, GA- Funeral services for Vera Lewis Ford will be 2 PM Saturday, August 27, 2016 at Union Baptist Church. Rev. David Stanley will officiate. Interment services will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park. Mrs. Ford, 93, passed away Monday, August 22, 2016.
Survivors include three children, Ruby James, Holland (Ivy) Ford, and Glenda Ford; ten grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
The family may be contacted at 991 Taylor St., Macon.
Jones Brothers Mortuary has charge of arrangements.

Judy and I became friends when she and I along with several others joined Union Baptist and Mrs. Vera was to become dear to me. She possessed uch a sweet and gentle spirit. Always a warm hug and smile welcoming you when I would go to her home. She was a pillar of the community and just know GOD truly blessed her to be here for 93 years. Rest in peace to a grand lady indeed. God continue to bless her family.
