Jacobi, Mary Ann F.
ROXBURY/SAUK CITY - Mary Ann F. Jacobi, age 70, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her own home on Dec. 29, 2020, surrounded by her family. She was born Jan. 16, 1950, to the late Henry and Marina (Ballweg) Nolden. She attended St. Norbert's Catholic School and graduated from Sauk Prairie High School in 1968. Mary Ann was united in marriage to Chuck Jacobi on May 1, 1971, at St. Norbert's in Roxbury. Together they made their home in the Roxbury Township. Mary Ann worked for a short time for the State of Wisconsin before raising their daughters. She later returned to work for Sauk Prairie Chiropractic; a career that lasted nearly 30 years until she retired in November 2015. In retirement, she and Chuck enjoyed many travels, highlights being trips to Myrtle Beach, Niagara Falls, Nashville, and the Black Hills. She enjoyed her flower garden, supporting her grandsons in school and sporting events, and looked forward to spending time with her family and friends, and trips to Door County. She is a member of St. Bernard's Catholic Parish, Middleton, and past member of St. Norbert's and St. Aloysius Catholic Churches.
She is survived by her husband, Chuck; daughters, Amy Wollangk and her sons, Grant and Braden, and Molly (Craig Bryant) Jacobi; brothers, Roger, Melvin (Gloria), Don (Judy Maharaj), and Victor Nolden; her sister, Barb (Gary) Mock; and former son-in-law, Jason Wollangk. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her unnamed twin; infant brother; and a brother, David Nolden.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2021, at ST. BERNARD CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2015 Parmenter St., Middleton. Burial will follow in the St. Norbert Cemetery, Roxbury. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2021, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at HOOVERSON FUNERAL HOME, 251 Water St., Sauk City, and one hour prior to Mass at church.
Mary Ann's family would like to extend their sincerest thanks to the UW Carbone Cancer Center; Dr. Sam Lubner and his nursing staff; and a special friend and neighbor, Pat Lohr.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Mary Ann's name to UW Carbone Cancer Center.
