Brian Mosko Obituary

Brian S. Mosko, age 62, passed away the 4th of July of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis. He was the son of John Mosko and Alice Campbell Mosko. Brian graduated from Lakeview High School and Youngstown University with a Masters Degree in Biology. He ran the Trumbull County Wastewater Lab until he left to start his own company, Valley Environmental Lab. He then delegated that to his wife and became a league operator for the American Poolplayers Association for 18 years. He loved traveling to Las Vegas every year to work and watch his players. Pool was his passion and he found true happiness interacting with his players. He ran several pool tournaments each year to support the Semper Fi Organization and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Brian was also an excellent cook and held a family dinner every Sunday for many years, making everything from scratch. He was known for his great breadmaking, the love of which he passed on to several of his granddaughters. Brian was very patriotic and very proud of the retired Marine (Mac) and active naval (Andy) that are in the family. Brian leaves his wife, Patricia Guzan Mosko. They were married May 25, 1991. He leaves two brothers, Edward and Kevin Mosko, sisters Kathy Miller and Kim Elliott (Phil). Six grandchildren, Chance Greeley (Katie), Maggie Jeffrey (Mac), Alexis Beltran (Ricardo), Tyler Hijazi (Dr. Ryan), Andy Black IV, and Tori Kover (Megan). He also leaves 12.5 great-grandchildren which he absolutely adored. He leaves many good friends, especially Bernie and Nouhad Pavlock. Brian was preceded in death by his parents, brother John R., sister Lynn (Alice), and three step-children, Andy Black III, Dawn Black, and Heather Kover. In Brian's honor, please play a game of pool, have a shot and JUST HAVE FUN! . Caring and Professional arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Staton-Borowski Funeral Home, 962 North Road, NE, Warren, Ohio 44483, 330-394-6200. Dedicated To Serving Your Loved Ones.
