Gilbert "Gene" Robinson

Gilbert "Gene" Robinson, 90, of Orangeville, Ohio, passed away Tuesday evening, October 18, 2022, at Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren. He was born June 5, 1932 in Greenville, PA, the son of Roy and Jeannette DuMars Robinson. He was a Vernon High School graduate. He worked at Shenango Inc. in Sharpeville. He was a crane operator and also worked with the furnaces pouring the iron. After retirement, he went back to work as a watchman. He is survived by four nieces, Kathleen Ryan of Hartford, Linda Unangst of Orangeville, Susan Willmes of Queen Creek, AZ, and Cindy Ogren of Gilbert, AZ; three nephews, Larry Kautzman of Sharpsville, John Kautzman of Sandy Lake and Ron Kautzman of Chagrin Falls. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Mary Unangst, who raised him from the age of 5, Katherine Kautzman White, Virginia Kidd and Rosemary Robinson; brothers, Charles, Glen and Freddie Robinson; and nephew, Richard Unangst. Friends and family may call on Friday, October 21, 2022,from 11 a.m. to noon at the Galloway-Onstott Funeral Home, 3451 St. Rt. 7, Hartford. The funeral service will follow at noon with Rev.
