Dr. Leonard J. Greenberg

Greenberg - Dr. Leonard J., age 76, died at home in St. Paul, MN on Oct 2, 2002. Born in Boston, Mass., son of the late Jack and Lena Greenberg, of Lynn Mass. Leonard earned a B.S. in pharmacy at Northeastern University, Mass., an M.S. in Pharmacology, University of Rochester, NY, a PhD Biochemistry, University of Minnesota. His successful academic career with faculty positions included Stanford University, New York University and many years at University of Minnesota. He worked for several years at Naval Radiological Defense Laboratory, CA and Director of Virus Research at Union Carbide Research Institute, New York. Leonard is survived by former wife Mary Ann, brother, Lester and sister-in-law Helen, of Naples, Florida and niece, Leslee Saleck, Leesburg, Virginia. A private Memorial service was held.
