Dana Albert Obituary
VASSALBORO - Dana M. Albert, 65, of 547 Webber Pond Road, died unexpectedly on Saturday, May 10, 2014, at Alfond Center for Health in Augusta.
He was born in Waterville on Oct. 15, 1948, the son of Raymond Albert and Beatrice (Brochu) Albert.
Dana was a graduate of Winslow High School.
He was owner and operator of Dana's Small Engine for several years. He was previously employed by Dura Therm Window Corp. for several years.
Dana was predeceased by his father.
Surviving is his daughter, Dana Poland Harford, of Vassalboro; his mother, of Winslow; a stepdaughter, Wendy Mitchell, of Windsor; three stepsons, Mark Bragg and Norman Bragg, both of South China, and Wade Bragg, of Thorndike; two sisters, Debra Belanger, of Winslow, and Brenda Albert, of Oakland; one granddaughter, Justine Poland Harford, of Vassalboro; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
There will be no public visiting hours. A celebration of Dana's life will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 31, at his residence.
Arrangements are under the care of Plummer Funeral Home, 983 Ridge Road, Route 32, Windsor. Condolences, photos and stories may be shared at www.plummerfh.com.

Dana was a friend and neighbor for 15 years. always a help and we all loved Little Dana.Hey Little Dana remember the rabbits? If it was a mower that quit or a Llama that ran away, Dana was there.Thank you Dana for being our friend.

Dee and Justine, I am so sorry for your loss. Your father was a good person and when we were all younger we had so much fun at his home and water skiing and riding in Slow Poke which was anything but slow. We also had some fun?, fast rides in the old GTO he had. Always had a great time at his home when we all got together for an all day cook out at the lake. He always made everyone feel welcomed to his home. A few weeks ago I was at his house with your Mom and he had a big hug for me. My thoughts are with you!Love you guys!
