Harvey, what can I say. I have known you since I was a child playing with Deb and Mike. Your home was like a second home for me. I can not list all the memories I have of all the time I spent at your house. One of my favorite memories as a child was the time Deb and I was playing Chinese jump roap in the kitchen and you said "that is easy" you could even do it. So you did, and did quite well for awhile until your feet got caught up in the ropes and fell on your "butt". I never laughed so hard, Deb was scared that you were going to get angry, but you just laughed your "butt" off too. You were a great father and known as one of the mountian boys, but in my eyes you are the KING of all the mountain boys and will certainly be missed by so many people. I know that your spirit will always be over St. Albans mountain watching over it and that is as it should be. Jim and I will miss you, but you are never going to be forgoten. All our love for you and your family.

I wasn't one of Harvey's closest friends, but he always made me feel welcome, genuinely happy to see me when I did stop in. I will miss seeing him. He always enjoyed a good joke or story. I enjoyed hearing about people he remembered from when he was young and things were so different then now. I hope you all carry the memories and stories with you now to pass on to the next generation, as they will miss out on having known Harvey. He was one of a kind and will be missed by many.

Dear Lorraine and Family, I found this the other day and immediately thought of Harvey. He drempt that he would live to fish until his dying day, and as he cast his last cast he silently slip away. As God nets him with his heavenly net from waters cold and deep, I'm sure he will decide with grace, "he good enough to keep." Beth Mathieson and Bill Berry

Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.
I give you this one thought to keep -
I am with you still - I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am sunlight on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awake in the morning's hush
I am the swift, uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not think of me as gone -
I am with you still - in each new dawn.

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief. I am proud to say that Harvey was my uncle. I will always remember his sense of humor, even since I was a child.
