Percy Carlton Jones II

CORNVILLE -- Percy Carlton Jones II, 35, of Cornville, died Sunday, June 24, 2007. Born June 9, 1972, in Waterville, he was the son of Roy P. and Dianne (Boone) Jones.

Percy was a Navy veteran and was active during the Cuban crisis, the Gulf War and the conflict in Haiti. He loved to work with computers.

He is survived by his girlfriend, Ruth-Ann Cole of Cornville; his mother, Dianne M. Jones of Winslow; one son, Lance Jones of North Carolina; one brother, Andrew Jones and his wife, Andrea, of Fairfield; one sister, Michelle Anderson of South China; four nieces, Amy Jones of Fairfield, and Emma Anderson, Maggie Anderson, and Molly Anderson all of South China; two aunts, Linda Charrier and her husband Rudy of Norridgewock, and Peggy Jones of Skowhegan; four uncles, Dennis Stevens and his wife, Brenda, of Sidney, Michael Stevens of New York, Ronald Stevens and his wife, Laura, of California, and Gerald Mundy of Bangor, along with many cousins.

Percy was predeceased by his father, Roy Percy Jones in 1988.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 26 4-7 p.m. at Smart & Edwards Funeral Home, 183 Madison Ave., Skowhegan.

A funeral will be held Wednesday, June 27, at 10 a.m. at Smart & Edwards Funeral Home followed by interment at Sunset View Cemetery in Norridgewock.
